Biography

Dr. Kufe joined our Board of Directors in 2010. Dr. Kufe has been with the Dana-Farber Cancer Center since 1979 and currently serves as the chief of the Division of Cancer Pharmacology, Deputy Director. He is also director of the Harvard Phase I Oncology Group and a leader of the Experimental Therapeutics Program. Dr. Kufe is a recognized industry thought leader with over thirty years of oncology clinical and research experience and is the recipient of several distinguishing awards, including the Richard P. and Claire W. Morse Scientific Award, DFCI; the Scholar Award, Burroughs-Wellcome; and the Faculty Research Award, American Cancer Society. Dr. Kufe currently sits on the Board of Directors of Genus Oncology, LLC and Linus Pharmaceuticals. He received his A.B. from Bowdoin College and his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
