LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2013--
Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA) announced today that it has
priced an underwritten public offering of 14,000,000 shares of its
common stock at a price to the public of $3.75 per share. Gross proceeds
to Synta are expected to be approximately $52.5 million, before
deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated
offering expenses payable by Synta. The offering is expected to close on
or about November 18, 2013, subject to satisfaction of customary closing
conditions. Synta has granted the underwriters a thirty (30) day option
to purchase up to 2,100,000 additional shares.
Jefferies LLC is acting as the sole book-running manager for the
offering, and JMP Securities, Brean Capital, LLC and Roth Capital
Partners are acting as co-managers for the offering.
